FIELD: transport engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to decorations for mounting cavity in cover plate on vehicle roof. Said cavities are used for fastening support posts of luggage carrier installed on vehicle roof. Device consists of insert part 1 fitted in cover plate and hinged cover 2 installed for turning around axis passing in longitudinal direction relative to cover plate. Hinged cover gets into mounting cavity in closed position. Hinged cover is provided with support axles 6 on ends and fixing journals 11 locked by spring members 12 in open and closed positions of hinged cover formed on insert part 1. Each support axle 6 and fixing journal 11 are connected with hinged cover 2 by corresponding hinge 5 formed on cover and having shape of U-like clamp. Said hinge has sizes and from to let edge of mounting cavity get into free space 9 limited by hinge 5 when hinged cover 2 is lifted. ^ EFFECT: provision of free access to mounting cavity when hinged cover is open. ^ 5 cl, 7 dwg |
