<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible for a tamper evident (showing the evidence that a container is opened) band to be cut when a capped portion threadedly engaged and capped to the container mouth is subjected to a predetermined amount of shear force and to be locked on a jaw section of the container mouth. <P>SOLUTION: A method for forming a tamper evident band for a container plastic cap is provided so that the tamper evident band integrally molded via a breakable cutting line at the lower end of the skirt of the capped portion of a cap threadedly engaged to the container mouth is locked to the jaw section of the container mouth.
