<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a third-party to control a remote image processing job. <P>SOLUTION: A remote computing device (RCD) 4 transmits UI definition (operation screen) to a multi-function peripheral device (IDev) 2 and a remote user device (RUD) 5 to make the operation screen of the RUD 5 identical to the operation screen of the IDev 2. The RUD 5 transmits user input information regarding functions of the IDev 2 using the operation screen to the IDev 2 with a print job. Since the IDev 2 performs an image processing job based on the input information, a user performs an input operation regarding the functions of the IDev 2 on the RUD 5 with the same feeling as that of an input operation on the IDev 2, and user's operability is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
