<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for suppressing the occurrence of a modulation error while suppressing an increase in circuit scale by outputting only a signal requiring power limitation while clipping by a clipping circuit, and making any signal having a level not requiring clipping bypass the clipping circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A hexadecagonal clipping means 101 compares a signal level (clip level=RL) requiring predetermined clipping as a wireless communication system with an amplitude value of I and Q signals, performs clipping when the amplitude value is larger than the RL, and delivers a signal indicating whether clipping is performed or not to an AND gate 104. The AND gate 104 controls a selector 103 to deliver an I/Q signal outputted from the hexadecagonal clipping means 101 selectively when a signal indicating that clipping is performed is received from the hexadecagonal clipping means 101, and to deliver an I/Q signal outputted through a timing regulator 102 selectively when a signal indicating that clipping is not performed is received. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
