PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate stator winding on a stator core, and to prevent deterioration in the efficiency, as much a possible. SOLUTION: A stator 6 is provided with stator magnetic poles 6a, 6b and 6c of a plurality of phases, which are divided in a circumferential direction, and each of stator magnetic poles 6a, 6b and 6c is provided with an arc-like stator core 13, having a plurality of claw poles 16b that extend in the axial direction and the stator winding 14 wound in an elliptic shape in the circumferential direction. Since the stator magnetic poles 6a, 6b and 6c are divided magnetically, leakage magnetic flux is reduced, and efficiency can be improved.
