PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage system for attaining a storage device mounted with iSCSI, in which each user can perform necessary setting within an authority given thereto, and a management method and a storage control device therefor. SOLUTION: In the storage system including one or more host computers and the storage control device for providing a plurality of logic volumes composed of storage areas for reading and writing data to each of the host computers, the storage control device includes a management part for managing information for the logic volume assigned to or unassigned to each host computer as volume information, an identification part for identifying necessary volume information based on a command from the host computer, and an execution part for executing, based on the necessary information identified by the identification part, predetermined processing according to function information of the logic volume contained in the volume information to the logic volume.
