PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and efficiently measure a braking force of a brake at front wheels and rear wheels. SOLUTION: The front left and right wheels F of a car A are supported so as to bridge pairs of measurement rollers 4, 5, 11, 12. The rear left and right wheels R are supported so as to be bridged between a pair of measurement rollers 11, 12. In a first measuring process, the braking force is measured while the measurement rollers 4, 5 for the front wheels F are forwardly rotated, and the measurement rollers 11, 12 for the rear wheels R are prevented from being rotated. In the process of backwardly rotating the measurement rollers, the measurement rollers 4, 5 are backwardly rotated, and the wheels are returned from a state that the wheels overlie the measurement rollers 5, 12 due to a braking operation in the first measuring process to a state that the wheels are supported so as to bridge measurement rollers 4, 5, 11, 12. In a second measuring process, the braking force is measured while the measurement rollers 11, 12 for the rear wheels R are forwardly rotated, and the measurement rollers 4, 5 for the front wheels F are prevented from being rotated.
