PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open hearth capable of disassembling and assembling a wood frame of an ingleside and a top panel. SOLUTION: The ingleside 2 is disposed on a floor surface 4, and a furnace main body 10 is disposed on an ingleside opening portion 3 of the ingleside 2. The ingleside 2 is composed of the wood frame 12, and the wood frame 12 is composed of four side plates 14. The side plates 14 are composed of split side plates 15a, 15b, and grooves 17 for parallel-cross assembly are formed on their both end portions. The wood frame 12 is formed by moderately assembling the grooves 17 for parallel-cross assembly to parallel-crossings. Simultaneously the ingleside opening portion 3 is formed at the center. The furnace main body 10 is inserted to the ingleside opening portion 3, and a furnace projection 11 horizontally formed at a longitudinal outer side of the opening portion of the furnace main body 10 is engaged with a top face of the wood frame 12, thus the furnace main body 10 is disposed on the ingleside opening portion 3 of the ingleside 2.
