The suspension has a cross wire fixed in a backrest-frame of a seat, at which a support wire or a wire frame (12) is hanged for receiving a lordosis plate (10). An area of the support wire or wire frame is held at the cross wire by a connecting unit. The cross wire and/or the area of the support wire or wire frame facing the cross wire has a projecting section, which prevents a movement of the support wire or the wire frame along the cross wire. The projecting section is formed as a curved section.
