An apparatus of operating a convey roller of a heating furnace is provided to maintain a linear figure of the roller by absorbing the amount of thermal strain through an elastic member installed at two ends of the roller. An apparatus of operating a convey roller(20) of a heating furnace comprises a frame(10) forming a framework of the furnace, a rotation shaft(30), an operating member for operating the rotation shaft, and the roller. The rotation shaft is supported against the frame through a bearing(B). The rotation shaft is provided at a front end with an insertion part(32). The roller is inserted around the rotation shaft and has a hollow cylindrical shape. A coil spring(40) is elastically installed between the roller and the rotation shaft. |
