<p>The device (10) forms a channel-like support portion (12) which has a U-shaped cross-section and defines a cavity (14) for receiving the handles of a bag. In order to make it possible for the user to securely hold the support device (10) in his hands, the device further forms a retaining portion (16) which projects from an end of the support portion (12) assuming a loop-like configuration which closes over the outer surface of the bottom wall of the support portion (12). The support portion (12) and the retaining portion (16) are made as a single piece of rigid material, be it metal or plastics.</p> |
