PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold assembly which does not need a complex structure and a long time to cool/solidify a thermoplastic resin injected into a cavity and can discharge pressurized fluid in a hollow part after the resin in the cavity is cooled/solidified. SOLUTION: The mold assembly has first and second mold parts 11 and 12, the cavity 18, a molten resin injection part 15, and a pressurized fluid introduction part 16. A recess 20 which communicates with the cavity 18 and into which the molten thermoplastic resin is partially introduced from the cavity 18 is formed in a part 19B of the second mold corresponding to the terminal in the flow direction of the molten resin injected into the cavity 18. A pressurized fluid discharge part 21 which is opened to the recess 20 and communicates with the outside is formed in a part of the recess 20 at which the molten resin does not arrive.
