The invention concerns a method for sorting particles, including: injecting a fluid comprising particles (100), into a so-called "sorting zone" between at least one first element (110) and at least a second element (120) opposite each other and producing at least a temperature gradient in the sorting zone, enabling the particles to be moved towards the second element and the particles to be separated. The invention also concerns a device for implementing said method.
