<p>A fountain toothbrush in which toothpaste, contained in a removable cartridge, is moved through to the head of the brush by a screw action piston device. The cartridge fits inside the cartridge holder which screws onto the brush head. In use, a rotating mechanism fitted to the end of the toothbrush handle, causes movement of a plunger which forces toothpaste out of the cartridge. The paste flows through the brush head and is dispensed at outlets near the base of the bristles. The cartridge holder has an indicator window which may be used to assess the amount of toothpaste left in the device.</p> |
