The device i.e. in-house emergency call device (1) has a base lining (2), where a printed circuit board (5) includes switching elements and is fastened to the base lining. Keys are fastened in an upper shell (6) and are designed for mechanical operation of the switching elements. The upper shell with the fastened keys forms one unit, and the base lining with the fastened printed circuit board forms another unit. The two units are connected with one another in a separable manner.
