Torsional vibration damper

The torsional vibration damper (1) has two rotating parts (3), which are arranged on a rotation axis and are displaced in a sliding manner relative to each other against the activation of an energy storage. A spring of the friction element (18) is pressed against the friction surface (11). The friction element and the friction surface form an element of a circular spring (6). The friction surface is formed as ramp, by which the spring is deflected in different widths during sliding of the friction element along the friction surface.
