Cleansing composition for the topical application, in the form of gel, comprises water (>= 35 wt.%), a foaming surfactant comprising non-ionic surfactant and amphoteric surfactants and a super absorbing polymer, in an aqueous medium. An independent claim is included for a cosmetic process for treatment of combination skin and oily skin comprising applying the composition on the skin and rinsing the skin.
