<p>A device for recording golfing performance includes a representation of a golf course hole 1 having tee position A, suggested shot position B and/or actual ball position C marked upon it. Grids with absolute or relative distances can be used in conjunction with the hole map 1 or concentric distance rings can be used for ranging. The device may be manufactured from card or paper or may comprise a portable electronic device including GPS functionality. The performance data can be transferred to a computer which can analyse and display performance further. Also disclosed is a computer which performs statistical analysis on data downloaded from a device for recording golfing performance The analysis of golf shot data whereby relative and/or absolute accuracy distance and consistency of golf shots can be represented graphically by means of a circle overlaying concentric circles. There is also a system comprising a database that can communicate with a plurality of devices for recording golfing performance.</p> |
