A valve apparatus (10) comprises a body member (11) having a throughbore (13) formed therein and also comprises at least one bypass port (42) formed in the body member (11) and a rotatable member (100) arranged for insertion and rotation within the throughbore (13) of the body member (11). The rotatable member (100) in the throughbore (13) creates first and second annular portions (110, 120). The apparatus (10) further comprises a moveable member (80), wherein the moveable member (80) is moveable between a first configuration which defines a first fluid flow path between the first and second annular portions (110, 120) and a second configuration which defines a second fluid flow path between the first annular portion (110) and the at least one bypass port (42). The invention is particularly suited for selectively controlling fluid flow through and around a progressive cavity pump. |
