A ramp assembly 10 for wheelchair access to a building via a door system includes a support member 30 laterally adjacent to the base frame member 102 and seal 104 of the door, the support member 30 vertically located so as to support a first end 22 of a ramp device 20 at the same or an elevated height relative to the base frame member 102 and seal 104. The support member 30 may be attached to a support bracket 40 which is mounted to a building. The support member 30 may comprise slidably coupled tubes (32, 24 figure 2) so as to be adjustable in width. The bracket 40 and support member 30 may be pivotably connected to allow various mounting orientations of the bracket 40. The ramp 20 and support member 30 may be removed from the bracket 40 when not in use and the length of the ramp 20 may be adjustable. |
