The system has at least one sensor (3) for detecting a fire parameter and evaluation electronics (4) for evaluating the sensor signal(s) and for triggering an alarm if a predetermined alarm value is exceeded by the signal. An activity sensor (6) for detecting movements of persons in the relevant room is associated with the fire parameter sensor(s) and a central display for movements in the building.
