A virtual SIM system to enable the use of virtual SIMs from a single mobile communications device equipped with a master SIM related to the virtual SIMs. Virtual SIM systems connected to mobile communications networks provide processing and storage for providing services to subscribers and for storing virtual SIM information. Calls may be made from a mobile communications device equipped with the master SIM utilising a subscription of a virtual SIM, and calls directed to a virtual SIM may be routed to a mobile communications device equipped with a related master SIM. Apparatus and methods are provided for the creation, maintenance, use, registration and deregistration of virtual SIMs. |
