Methods, an encryptor and a system for encrypting or decrypting WMV on-demand streaming media are disclosed. The encryptor encrypts the WMV on-demand streaming media carried in an ASF file using a content key; a media server send each encrypted packet carrying the WMV on-demand streaming media in the ASF file to a DRM agent; the DRM agent decrypt the encrypted packet carrying the WMV on-demand streaming media. The scheme of encrypting or decrypting the WMV streaming media is enabled in a DRM system based on Open Mobile Alliance specifications and Internet Stream Media Alliance specifications, thus richly diversifying the content providers' choices on the media formats of on-demand streaming media. |
