发明名称 FRICTION WELDING METHOD
摘要 A friction welding method of a sintered article and an article made of a general workpiece is provided to obtain superior weldability and formability by welding edges of the respective articles in a staircase form and preventing an influence due to frictional heat from exerting on central parts of the articles in a state that the sintered article is inserted into the general workpiece. In a friction welding method for subjecting weld joints(52,53) of the two articles to friction welding by pressurizing the sintered article fixed to the stationary chuck toward a general article while rotating the rotary chuck after fixing a sintered article(50) to a stationary chuck of a welding apparatus and fixing a general article(51) made of steel to a rotary chuck, a friction welding method of different workpieces comprises: integrally forming a hole(54) in the weld joint of the sintered article to exclude post-formability; forming a joining space(55) in the weld joint of the general article the weld joint is received in the joining space in such a shape that the weld joint of the sintered article is deformed and inserted into the joining space during friction welding; forming the joining space having a depth(H) deeper than a joining depth(H1) to minimize an influence of heat generated during friction welding on a hole(56) formed in the center of the general article; and welding the general article in a state that the general article maintains a diameter larger than an outer diameter(D1) of a final article considering final forming conditions.
