A system and a method for originating an SIP call through a circuit-switched network from UE device are provided to enable an AS(Alternative Service) node to allocate a selected E.164 number dynamically to the URI of a called party received from the UE device, return the selected E.164 number to the UE device by an SIP 380 response message, and transmit the allocated E.164 number to the UE device by a call setting message, thereby routing the SIP call toward the called party. An SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) call routing method comprises the following steps of: transmitting an SIP invite message having call information associated with an SIP call to an IMS(Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem) network in response to the identification of a mobile originating call request for the SIP call, wherein the SIP invite message includes the URI(Uniform Resource Locator) of a called party(312); receiving an SIP 380 response message including E.164 number from the IMS network in response to the transmission of the SIP invite message(316); and transmitting a CS(Circuit-Switched) call setting message, which includes the E.164 number for the routing of the SIP call to the called party, to the IMS network for the SIP call after the reception of the SIP 380 response message(320).
