<p>A signal processing apparatus, and a signal processing method and program are provided to enable the encoding of a voice stream, of which the signal processing is performed, to be performed by the same type of codec as a codec used in the encoding of a compressed voice stream, thereby preventing a codec used in the encoding of an input stream from being inconsistent with a codec used in the encoding of an output stream when performing the signal processing of the input stream and outputting the processed input stream. A decoder(31) decodes a compressed voice stream encoded in a predetermined codec, and a signal processing unit(32) performs the predetermined signal processing of the voice stream decoded by the decoder. A first acquisition unit(34) acquires at least one of information described to the header of the compressed voice stream and the management information of contents including the compressed voice stream. A setting unit(35) determines a type of the codec used in the encoding of the compressed voice stream on the basis of the information acquired by the first acquisition unit and sets the codec used in the encoding of the voice stream of which the signal processing unit performs the signal processing. An encoder(33) encodes the voice stream, of which the signal processing unit performs the signal processing, according to the setting of the setting unit and outputs the encoded voice stream to an external device with a decoder(21).</p> |
