<p>A device for forming knobs on twisted steel wires is provided to further improve bearing capacity of an impermeable wall when using the twisted steel wires in a water-blocking or sheathing work during excavation of the ground in various constructions of building, road and harbor by forming a plurality of knobs or protrusions on the twisted steel wires, thereby improving tensile strength of the twisted steel wires. A device(1) for forming knobs on twisted steel wires comprises: a first fixing part(10) for fixing twisted steel wires(W) in an upper part; a second fixing part installed under the first fixing part to fix the twisted steel wires again; a hydraulic cylinder unit(30) installed under the second fixing part, connected to the second fixing part, and hydraulically operated to reciprocate in the longitudinal direction; and a knob forming frame(40), wherein triangular first and second twisted steel wire fixing members(18,24) are respectively installed on the first and second fixing parts to form knobs on the twisted steel wires, fixing supports(19) and pushers(23) are slantly connected to the first and second twisted steel wire fixing members to support the first and second twisted steel wire fixing members respectively, and the fixing supports and the pushers are supported to a fixing part case(26) by bolts. The first fixing part includes a first hand lever(11) hinged to a bottom part of the fixing part case, connector fixtures(13) formed on intermediate portions of left and right sides of the first hand lever, a connector(14) assembled into an inner side of the fixing part case, first stopper fixtures(15) clamped to the connector by bolts, and a first stopper(16) moved toward the fixing supports through a slit groove. The second fixing part includes a second hand lever(21) pushed to the hydraulic cylinder unit to move a second stopper(25) clamped to the second hand lever by bolts. The knob forming frame is installed between knob forming frame supports(41) to form knobs on the twisted steel wires by instantaneously pressing the twisted steel wires in the longitudinal direction within the knob forming frame.</p> |
