THE STUFFING BOX TO ENVIRONMENT FOR PREVENTION CONTAMINATION WASTEFUL ENGINE-OIL

An eco-friendly stuffing box for preventing environmental pollution and a waste of engine oil is provided to minimize generation of waste oil by completely blocking discharge of exhaust gas sludge and gas of a large ship engine. An eco-friendly stuffing box for preventing environmental pollution and a waste of engine oil includes a sludge removing unit(10) and a gas blocking unit. The sludge removing unit is formed at an upper end of a stuffing box housing(100) and has sludge removing rings. Each of the sludge removing rings has a sludge discharge guide angle protrusively inclined upward and a latch angle cut upward to be inclined. The gas blocking unit is formed at a lower end of the sludge removing unit and has gas blocking rings. Each of the gas blocking rings has at least one ratchet groove and has a high sealing property. An oil recovery hole(110) is additionally formed at the uppermost dividing unit among the dividing units(160,160-1) provided among four-stage oil filtering units(120,120-1) installed at a lower part of the stuffing box housing.
