METHOD FOR ENHANCING MIXING EFFECT OF FLUID MATERIAL IN MICROCHANNEL

A method for enhancing mixing effect of fluid material in a microchannel is provided to dispose electrodes at two ends of the microchannel and apply alternating power to the electrodes. A method for enhancing mixing effect of fluid material in a microchannel(10) comprises the steps of installing first and second electrodes(20) at two ends(12,14) of the microchannel, and applying alternating power in a direction perpendicular to the flow direction of fluid in the microchannel to mix the fluid flowing in the microchannel, wherein the first and second electrodes are mounted on the opposite surfaces of the microchannel and potential values of the alternating power applied to the first and second electrodes are different.
