POSITION SENSOR OF LIGHT SOURCE, APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SENSING SELF-POSITION

A module for sensing a position of a beam source and an apparatus and a method for sensing self-position using the same are provided to minimize the size of the module by implementing a position detection sensor instead of a camera in a robot. A beam source position sensor includes a PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(8), plural beam receiving chips(10), a molding unit, and a case(30). The beam receiving chips are mounted on the PCB. The molding unit molds the beam receiving chips which include focusing lens. The case includes plural slits used to guide beams to the focusing lens. The focusing lens are installed at respective direction.
