A system for controlling a gas separating apparatus is provided to satisfy purity and pressure of a product gas required by users, immediately reduce the power consumption in a reliable and efficient manner, and stably operate a compressor by preparing a stopping process responding to pressure within the gas separating apparatus. In a system(1) for controlling a gas separating apparatus(2) that produces a product gas by repeating at least three processes of an adsorption process, a pressure equalizing process and a regenerating process relative to a plurality of adsorption columns filled with an adsorbent, thereby separating reverse adsorption components and recalcitrant adsorption components in a raw material mixed gas, the system comprises: a function model memorizing part(18) for memorizing a function model of a product gas pressure value possessed by the gas separating apparatus that has been identified by experimental values; an input value information memorizing unit(15) for memorizing information on a flow amount exhibiting the gas consumption amount inputted from the gas separating apparatus, a pressure value in the product tank, and information of a timer; a calculation part(12) for inputting the flow amount information, the pressure value and the timer information into the function model derived from the function model memorizing part to calculate a predicted pressure value and controlling starting time and finishing time of a stopping process after finishing the adsorption process and the regeneration process to calculate the controlled starting time and finishing time; and a control part(11) for controlling the gas separating apparatus based on starting times and finishing times of the three processes and the stopping process.
