A key cylinder of a safety lock is provided to allow easy assembly, and to have release-prevention function by including an inner cylinder, an outer cylinder, a fixing pin member, a spring member, a rod member and a cover plate. A key cylinder of a safety lock comprises an inner cylinder(100A), an outer cylinder(100B), a fixing pin member, a spring member(S), a rod member(200) and a cover plate(190a). The inner cylinder has a key hole and a plurality of first through holes connected to the key hole. The outer cylinder has a hollow through hole fitted with the inner cylinder and a plurality of second through holes(150b,150b",150b') connected to the hollow through hole. The fixing pin member is disposed inside the first and second through holes not to interrupt relative turning of the inside and outer cylinders. The spring member compresses the fixing pin member. The rod member is disposed between the fixing pin member and the spring member in the second through holes. The cover plate is linked to an outer surface of the outer cylinder so as to cover the second through holes from the outside.
