A multilayer condenser is provided to realize a significantly reduced equivalent series inductance at a low cost while avoiding a need for multiple terminal electrodes, particularly in a decoupling condenser. A multilayer condenser(10) comprises: a substantially rectangular shaped dielectric device(12) formed by stacking a plurality of dielectric layers; an inner layer section that includes a first inner conductor layer and a second inner conductor layer stacked alternately with the dielectric layer interposed therebetween in such a manner that the conductor layers are overlapped with each other in the stacking direction(Z), and has an internal electrode circuit of the condenser; an outer layer section that is adjacent to any one of both side sections in the direction of stacking the first inner conductor layer and the second inner conductor layer, and includes a first outer conductor layer and a second outer conductor layer stacked with the dielectric layer interposed therebetween in such a manner that the layers are not overlapped with each other in the stacking direction; a first terminal electrode(31) that is formed on a first lateral side parallel to the stacking direction of the dielectric layers and is in contact with the first inner conductor layer and the first outer conductor layer; a second terminal electrode(32) that is formed on a second lateral side opposite to the first lateral side and is in contact with the second inner conductor layer and the second outer conductor layer. The first terminal electrode is formed over the first lateral side(12A), and a third lateral side and a fourth lateral side adjacent to the first lateral side and parallel to the stacking direction of the dielectric layers. The second terminal electrode is formed over the second lateral side(12B), and a third lateral side and a fourth lateral side adjacent to the first lateral side and parallel to the stacking direction of the dielectric layers.
