RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR SIDEWALL INSERT OF RUNFLAT TIRE

A rubber composition of a sidewall insert of a run-flat tire is provided to realize improved heat emission characteristics and blow out characteristics while not adversely affecting a comfort feel during driving. A rubber composition of a sidewall insert of a run-flat tire comprises: 100 parts by weight of base rubber; 1-50 parts by weight of ferrite powder; and 0.1-5 parts by weight of alkoxysiloxane as a coupling agent. The ferrite powder is anisotropic and has an average particle diameter of 830-930 nm. The base rubber includes natural rubber, synthetic rubber or a blend thereof.
