<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a user's labor hour in query for medical image data. <P>SOLUTION: A server 3 acquires a user ID of the user that is a providing destination of a medium 9. The server extracts a doctor name for each doctor type from header information of a selected medical image, and generates a contact table associating the doctor name with a mail address. A query destination group by doctor type such as referential doctor or image reading doctor is selected based on the acquired user ID, and a query destination table is generated in association with the user ID and stored in the medium 9 together with the contact table. A client 5 acquires the user ID of the log-in user, reads the query destination group associated with the user ID from the query destination table, and extracts the doctor name of a doctor shown in the query destination group from the header information of the medical image.
