An internal voltage generator is provided to generate an internal voltage(VINT) with a constant level regardless of the increase of an external power supply voltage, by controlling a current flowing in a driver control part. A voltage comparison unit(100) is driven by an enable signal, and compares a reference voltage with a feedback voltage. A driver control unit(200) has a cascode current mirror structure, and outputs a driver control signal according to the comparison result. An output driver(300) outputs an internal voltage in response to the driver control signal. A voltage divider unit(400) generates the feedback voltage by dividing the internal voltage. The driver control unit suppresses the decrease of the voltage level of a driver control signal by channel length modulation.
