<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmissive liquid crystal display device capable of performing a display by suppressing gray scale inversion over a wide viewing angle range. <P>SOLUTION: In the transmissive liquid crystal display device 10 in which light transmitted through a liquid crystal panel 11 illuminated with a backlight is display light, a light transmitting and collecting plate 13 with its light collecting convex 15 directed to the liquid crystal panel 11 is disposed on a display surface of the liquid crystal panel 11 and an optical diffusion sheet 14 is disposed on the light emitting surface of the light transmitting and collecting plate 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
