<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily understand connection relationships of an equipment system by compressing display data without changing positional relationships. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU determines whether box groups in two adjacent columns X<SB>n</SB>and X<SB>n+1</SB>are in a column-matching condition in which blanks or row-oriented lines are displayed in corresponding boxes in Step ST2, and if the column-matching condition is met, deletes all the boxes in the column X<SB>n</SB>in Step ST3. The next two columns X<SB>n+1</SB>and X<SB>n+2</SB>are selected in Step ST4, and if the last column is reached in Step ST5, the routine is ended in Step ST6. The two columns X<SB>n+1</SB>and X<SB>n+2</SB>are repeatedly subjected to Step ST2 to Step ST5 until the last column is reached. Rows are similarly processed until two adjacent rows Y<SB>n</SB>and Y<SB>n+1</SB>reach the last row to delete all the boxes in rows that can be deleted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
