<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a proper braking force to an output shaft by a friction ring which is a component of a brake side clutch. <P>SOLUTION: A clutch unit comprises a lever side clutch provided at the input side to control the transmitting/intercepting the rotational torque to the output side by lever operation, and the brake side clutch 12 provided at the output side to transmit the input torque from the lever side clutch to the output side, and intercept the reverse input torque from the output side. The brake side clutch 12 comprises a friction ring 29 disposed between the brake-side side plate 23 and an output shaft 24 to apply braking force to the output shaft 24. The friction ring 29 has a ring-like shape made of a resin material with an outer peripheral surface 29c pressed against the output shaft 24, and a slit 29b formed in the outer peripheral surface 29c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
