PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation management apparatus for a commercial vehicle and an operation management system for a commercial vehicle using the same that reduce an occupant's load to operate an input terminal and prevent failure in recording. SOLUTION: The operation management apparatus for commercial vehicle, which records operation management data on a commercial vehicle, including work status and time, comprises an input terminal with which an occupant sets work status during a vehicle stop, an on-vehicle unit for storing a condition to reset when the vehicle continues to run for a prescribed time after the work status is set on the input terminal, and a reset condition detection means for detecting the reset condition. The on-vehicle unit records a work status set on the input terminal on a storage medium in time series, and when the reset condition detection means detects the reset condition, automatically resets the work status set on the input terminal and records the reset on the storage medium.
