摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel display apparatus, a hologram reproducing apparatus and an apparatus that utilizes holograms, using laser irradiation in a wavelength band equal to or longer than 190 nm and shorter than 380 nm. SOLUTION: The display apparatus includes a display device 1190 having a layer constructed by including an alkali halide or alkaline earth halide of which the optical characteristics are changed by laser irradiation of a first wavelength region equal to or longer than 190 nm shorter than 380 nm; a first light source 1191 for emitting a laser beam 1192 of the first wavelength region, in order to write display data in the display device 1190; and a second light source for irradiating the display device 1190, in which the display data are written, with light of a second wavelength region in the range of 380 nm to 800 nm. The display device has a plurality of layers comprising materials having absorption peak wavelengths different from one another, and the first light source and the second light source are constituted by a single light source variable in wavelength.
