PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug effective for treating intermittent claudication which induces the muscle ischemia of the limbs by exercise and makes it difficult to continue the exercise by a dull pain/numbness or the like caused by the muscle ischemia. SOLUTION: The intermittent claudication ameliorating agent has a compound selected from aminoalkoxydibenzyls represented by formula (1) (wherein R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>, and R<SP>3</SP>are each a substituent including hydrogen and the like and R<SP>4</SP>is an substitutent including a dialkylamino group), their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, esters, and solvates thereof as an active ingredient.
