PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washstand with the consideration of the handleability and safety, which is without the inconvenience of knocking down a vessel and the like put on a counter by a power cord during the use of a drier and causing the power cord to touch the inside of the washbowl and wetted and can prevent water from intruding on a power outlet. SOLUTION: The washstand having the counter with the washbowl, a modesty panel located below the counter and covering the front of the washbowl and the power outlet to supply power, a back board to return water from the washbowl is provided below the top face of the counter with the bowl, and the power outlet is provided below the back board.
