PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bio-optical measurement system which can acquire light with a sufficient signal intensity for optical measurement per light irradiating position while satisfying a fixed safety standard.
SOLUTION: A plurality of beams of spatial modulated light with the spatial light distribution different from each other are generated using a plurality of light radiating elements and irradiate a living body sequentially. A plurality of optoacoustic wave signals are detected from optoacoustic waves generated by the absorption of the individual beams of spatial modulated light with an absorbent in vivo. Optical signals with the intensity of light (N-1) times as much as the irradiation light can be acquired per light radiating position by opposite orthogonal transformation using the optoacoustic wave signals. The calculation of the depth of an light absorbent or the like is also possible using the optical signals per light radiating position.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
|
