PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission system capable of properly correcting frequency characteristics of a transmission signal without adjusting an equalizer and a trap. SOLUTION: The transmission system has a first coaxial cable 1 with a transmitting end 1A on one side and a receiving end 1B on the other side, respectively and a second coaxial cable 2 with a transmitting end 2A on one side and a receiving end 2B on the other side, respectively and in which characteristic impedance is equal to characteristic impedance of the first coaxial cable 1, wherein core wires 3, 4 of the first coaxial cable 1 and the second coaxial cable 2 are connected with each other on the side of a receiving part, the transmitting end 1A of the first coaxial cable 1 is connected to a transmitter 5 by the characteristic impedance of the coaxial cable, the transmitting end 2A of the second coaxial cable 2 is terminated by characteristic impedance of the coaxial cable 2 and a receiver 6 with input impedance larger than the respective characteristic impedance of the first and second coaxial cables 1, 2 is connected to a connection point C of the core wires 3, 4.
