PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide network equipment capable facilitating connection from an external terminal to an internal terminal while securing security, to provide a port open/close control method, and to provide a port open/close control program. SOLUTION: The network equipment connected between the internal network and the external network and having a port filtering function includes: an authentication function execution part 62 for authenticating the external terminal when a terminal information acquisition request is output from the external terminal; a terminal information management part 66 for managing the terminal name and port number of the internal terminal as terminal information; and a Web server function execution part 61 for transmitting a list of terminal names based on the terminal information to the external terminal when authentication succeeds, and when receiving a port open request specifying a terminal name from the external terminal, opens a port corresponding to the specified terminal name and transmitting the port number to the external terminal.
