PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine, including a game board enabling a display device on the back to be observed through a transparent part of the game board, and switching the display device between the visible state and the almost invisible state. SOLUTION: This game machine includes: a display device 8 for making a variable display of identification information; the game board 18 disposed in front of the display device 8 and provided with a game area A where a game ball rolls and flows down, a part or the whole of which is formed of a transparent member so that the display state of the display device 8 can be observed through the transparent member; and a shielding means 22 provided between the display device 8 and the game board 18 to switch the display state of the display device 8 between the visible state and the almost invisible state.
