<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device capable of efficiently eliminating an electric field of signal wiring and preventing generation of crosstalk. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal device includes: a pixel electrode 9 and a common electrode 19 disposed opposite a liquid crystal layer side of a TFT array substrate 10 via an insulating film; a TFT (transistor) 30 connected to the pixel electrode 9; and a scanning line 3a and a data line 6a connected to the TFT 30 and extending in a direction crossing each other.
