PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for swiftly judging the clinical effect of a phosphatidylinositol 3(PI3) kinase inhibitor after beginning its administration by identifying new marker genes for the judgement. SOLUTION: The method for judging the effect of the P13 kinase inhibitor on a subject comprises analyzing the expression levels of 10 genes or their products regarding specimens taken from the subject before and after administering the inhibitor thereto.
