Intended is to create a wireless tag label with printed characters while making use of the existing printing device. Provided is a printing device (2) comprising a printing head (10) for printing a cover film (103), a cutter (15) for cutting a printed label tape (110), which is prepared by adhering the printed cover film (103) and a label backing tape (101) having a wireless tag circuit element (To), thereby to create a printed label (S), and a control circuit (30). This control circuit (30) creates, in response to identification information, printing information and additional information inputted from a terminal (5), the packet information containing those pieces of information, and outputs the packet information to a wireless tag information communication device (3) for reading/writing the information from/in the wireless tag circuit element (To). Moreover, the control circuit (30) makes such a control that the printing head (10) may print label characters (R) corresponding to the printing information in a predetermined area of the cover film (103).
